About Harley's Retreat

This idea wasn’t born from a business plan — it was born from life.

I’m a single parent, with years of care and leadership experience. I am someone who’s seen firsthand how healing, joyful, and grounding the presence of a dog can be. Dogs have carried me through anxiety, heartbreak, motherhood, trauma recovery, and growth.

Over the years, I’ve realised that there are plenty of places to walk a dog — but very few places that actually see dogs as family. Few places that offer safe, inclusive, welcoming environments for all dogs — especially rescues, seniors, misunderstood breeds, or dogs who struggle in overstimulating environments.

This dream is about more than just a dog park.

It’s about:

I want this retreat to be a home for birthday parties, first paddles, rescue reunions, silly games, slow mornings, and friendships that start with "can I pet your dog?"

Because in a world that often feels heavy — this is my light.
